Theological studies: At the Qom Theology School from 1958 to 1967. Themain  concern of the studies of this period was traditional postgraduate     theology, philosophy and mysticism .

University education: B.A., M.A. and Ph.D in the field of Philosophy and Islamic divinities from the College of the Theology, Tehran University, from 1967 to 1981.
